Help me about application

I want to get listed my site (in my sig) in DMOZ under some good category.

Please suggest me the category and how actually i should apply ... i mean correct application wordings.

After posting here i searched and found same category as best suited for me.


Now next step is how to apply so that editors can accept it within min time.
I don't want to wait for years

I have submitted the application. ( after some wait ).

Now how to assure that it get approves????

Perhaps you skipped reading the submission guidelines which require you to Identify the single best category for your site.

They also say Please only submit a URL to the Open Directory once.

Mong, it depends on if there is someone working on the category you submitted to.

I've waited years, yes years for my DoseUK site and am still waiting and was informed by another member here that nobody was currently working on that category

I even discovered an error in the guidelines but I am sure they have sorted it now - BTW, still no listing though

I selected the category suggest by john scott above in post #2.

I remember its first time i am submitting this website.

But G10 if i will try to post in their forum (you mentioned) then it will not create chaos for them

Everyone would spam there forum

btw above category looks sophisticated and less rushy.

You either have a memory problem or an impersonator .

If there hadn't been multiple suggestions to multiple categories, I wouldn't have commented.

Mong, I've been waiting for a year so far for my submissions to the World category for a reference resource - it may be that here isn't much interest in the topic or category, but I imagine it'll eventually get reviewed.

Once you've submitted, I wouldn't worry about it. There's better places for you to promote your site.

I submitted a few times a few years ago but the guys there sorted that out for me.
