Non-Profit Website?

Some paid directories, offer free listing for "NON-PROFIT WEBSITES"...does any one have a definition for this, what is a non-profit website?

It doesn't display ads? or doesn't charge for any service? or doesn't belong to a bussiness? or what?!!

When I have offered listing to non-profits I mean that the site is run by a non-profit organization, like a charity.

It would be those organizations with a 503(c) tax exempt code status. Non-profits are formed without the intent to realize a profit, and are usually formed for a religious, educational, charitable, literary, or scientific purpose.
