Is anyone else noticing that umdum.com is providing more referrals than all of the other directories your listed in added together?

I'm seeing good results from this directory.

My faith in directories MIGHT be coming back.

It's because he's getting tons of free promotion and it's still not even close to full yet.

I noticed that. I think it's because it's so new and it's easy to dominate Umdum's SERPs

Darren, like my other Blog Search Engine and SEOdex projects, Umdum gets traffic

It's not just a limp directory hanging out there in cyberspace trying to attract paying listings... it's actually being used by a decent amount of visitors and has received, like Nick says, excellent coverage in the blogosphere and search engine sites.

I’m not a fortune teller but I do have a knack with directories and can see the one’s that will end up in that elite class considered top directories. Umdum has that unique style and professional editor staffing to be really great. You and John have the integrity to reject paid submissions of poor quality; you also invest in marketing and are building the directories that will be around in ten years. Editorial integrity and the resources to operate for two or three years in the red are what it takes to build a good directory. Unfortunately very few seem to understand these simple and basic business concepts, you get what you put into a business.
