You'll know this already, I'm sure John, but it was knocked out before - PR8 ----> PR0 - believed to be for buying high PR links. Don't know what's up this time though.

I looked at it and it’s like any directory with out sufficient content today. Google has removed most of the cached pages. If you look at the supplemental results pages most of them low or no content. Google wants a lot of good content to make you a trusted source.

I was about to say that too. Weird to have it happen yet again... what luck. It's a good directory.

That's so odd. It isn't a bad directory.

How does Google even prove they purchased the high PR links? There's always been debate over that whole notion, if it's true they do that.

No need to prove it - they just make a decision.

And that decision can seriously suck if they're indeed wrong.
And John, I'm making a decision on you.

PR seems normal to me and it is indeed a clean very good directory.

Hopefully just an indexing fluke

Weird, now it's coming up N/A for me, at least for the index page. Google did something similar with the last update on my directory as well.
Blackfox Links
IndexedPages
AllInUrlBlackfox
So obvious there are a lot of supplemental results...kind of sucks. But hopefully this will all work out after next PR update.... One thing that is upsetting is that I have a lot of 'Not Bought' links that are coming from high PR sources and by high I mean PR4-6...but none of those seem to show in google. Also, this is since the last update...so they should at least be showing a few.

Check out the second bullet point:

Another so-called Web Directory is indeed a directory, but the only content when you get to the bottom of each category is a set of Google Adsense advertisements for the category. (Question: if Google is opposed to this type of site, as many of those commenting on the issue claim, why is Google providing these ads?))
|
That's the whole fiasco that got them whacked about this time last year.
As to their current indexing issues...with the way Google has been handling site indexing recently nothing would surprise me. Maybe this is just a temp fluke, then again maybe it is a "quality" issue with the directory itself.

I've got one like that too. It's held it's PR and hasn't affected the earnings so I'm happy to ride it out. Have emailed Google but no feedback from them...
