DMOZ doesnt need to send feedback. We have very clear guidelines for suggesting a site so you can tell if your site complies, or if it doesnt.

If it complies, it will be reviewed at some stage but the timeframe is somwhere between one day and many years.

If it doesnt comply, well you should know why because you read the guidelines.... so it was a waste of everyones time submitting it.

So why do you need feedback........its either accepted, it's in the pool for review or it was rejected. You can do nothing else, move along and promote your site by other means.

I would say from my experience that you are simply trying to build your post count. I base this on the fact that you have made 3 posts, i believe that one may have been deleted by Mods and the other 2 posts offer nothing of substance.

Please learn to contribute honestly and factually and that way you will enjoy being a member of what is a great forum

No. Read their guidelines and perhaps the 6 pages of this conversation.

Can anyone tell me, what is the processing time of Dmoz?
After how much time Dmoz approves or rejects our submission?

I only got into Dmoz once - and only because I paid to the Category manager... Still cheaper than Yahoo directory )))

I very much doubt your claim but if it is in fact true, then admitting you were that desperate that you enageged in a corrupt act is something that I would be ashamed to admit

Bribery would result in the Editor being ejected and all of your sites banned forever. I hope that you end up being caught.

Envy is a sin, my friend )) The Editor actually wanted even more money from me and the only way to stop him was exactly saying I might report what he is doing. Anyways - my website suits the category perfectly well. So, what is so bad about it?

I wish all editors were paid ones and things were a bit faster with Dmoz... What a pity that is impossible at the moment...

It's a shame if Dmoz editors are accepting bribes. They used to be the gold standard of links, and to imagine a Dmoz editor taking a bribe does not bode well for the community.

It is very rare but it has happened and probably will happen again. But as soon as we can identify what has happened we take immediate action, remove the Editor and remove the sites.

You cant do much more than that, you get "Bad Apples" everywhere and that is why we are so stringent when people apply to become Editors.

One of two reasons:
1. The site sucks and is not good enough for a listing
2. An editor has not yet reviewed

Useless site for DMOZ; of course they won't list it!

Of what value is the site to the DMOZ beyond what DMOZ already have listed. DMOZ is not going to list every site; it only lists site that add something of value to the particular category. Your site has nothing that a zillion other sites do not already have.
