If a link gives you more traffic, get the link. A followed link gives you authority but a no follow may give you a little authority as well. Google has not confirmed this but a no followed link still shows that you website can be trusted. If you can get the link, get the link.

Really? What authoritative source backs your statement up?

If Google has not stated so, how can you assert your statement it's true?

This is about the only statement in your posts that is worth considering - sort of. If you are getting the traffic as a result of obtaining a link, then the choice of whether or not to obtain that link is moot.

I think the quality back linking always helpful. Whether it is No-follow or Do-follow, No-follow also send good traffic to your blog. but tried at least high PR sites for submission.

FYI, I still use niche web directories to look for websites/business's and not always use Google.

Well the quality niche directories which is small in the niche I typically search in for.

No follow or do follow, does not matter to me because that one directory ranked high on certain keywords.

Um, no it isn't. PageRank is alive and well, Google is calculating it internally, and not for public viewing.

Matters how? Alexa isn't part of Google's search algo.

Either "do follow" or " No follow" is good. What I am concerned is ranking of sites that link to the site.

You need a combination of dofollow and nofollow backlinks, only dofollow will look spammy in google and you can get your site banned in search results.

Dofollow and Nofollow are equally important for SEO. Both link can be helpful to ranking your site as well as drive traffics to your sites.

Both types of links are important in search engine optimization. Search engines gives more value to follow links as compare to no-follow

The most useful way is to find authority sites which are relevant to your blog or website.

If you are link-building with high PR websites you'll definitely see the good change in your blog ranking no matter they provide you dofollow or nofollow.

Do not focus on quantity always create quality links.

Keep them balance with both sought of link-building. Do not concentrate only on do follow.

I don't care about type of the link.. But I always make sure there are at least handful of do follow links I create for any given page that I do SEO. I prefer No follow links as well as long as it is from an authority site in your niche which could drive great traffic for you even if it has little link value. Good Luck!

Nofollow links are natural. So either is alright in my opinion.

In regards to the topic at hand, as for me personally I still stand by what I have said many times...."A link is a link and all it takes is that one person or consumer viewing a link on any website and clicking on it and there you have not only a visitor but a possible conversion and a possible permanent client or a new customer".

With a backlink, whether Nofollow or Dofollow, many things are possible including getting that one extra visitor.

Nofollow one connection does not mean substance won't get ordered , there are a few routes in which a bot can achieve a page and it will at present record the destination page . Including nofollow in a connection indicating does not mean it will get no listed . On the off chance that so , i will make a post on my web journal point to my rivals posts and make it nofollow , will that imply that my rivals posts won't get recorded?

Second thing

"on the off chance that the site proprietor is connecting back to you, it doesn't influence your SEO."

google cleared in 2006 itself that no approaching connection , regardless of the possibility that its spammy can influence a webpage since they comprehend that a website admin can't control who connections to them .

Ultimately

"As of late Google have said that they will at present consider the nofollow join an active connection "

Yes genuine! they will consider it an active connection however the PR juice won't be passed, it will simply be depleted yet not credited to the nofollowed URL .

Nofollow link where you don't want to pass link-juice.
Dofollow links allow all search engines to follow them and reach our website.
Giving us link juice and a backlink
