DMOZ Problem

Tried to submit a link to DMOZ, but when you click suggest url, it will immediately shows HTTP 404 Not Found. I tried other categories, and all are the same. Tried it yesterday and today, still not working.

Does anybody else have this problem or is there problem with DMOZ server?

We just recieved a messages that our technical staff is expecting to need atleast another week before everything is restored.
When news is avaialbe I'll let you know.

Other people have been saying the same about the site, I think they have some big issues that need sorting, but if the site goes a flop then I will wave it good bye with a smile on my face

Current status: hard- and software are available but before editors and non-editors will get access testing will be done to check if everything is working properly

I see DMOZ page but whenever I go to the submission page, I always see this message

You'll have to wait out their server issues. Move on to other directories in the mean time.

Just submit to the 404 page. You'll get the same results.

Well since it's been broken so long now, how about tossing it entirely? Who'd miss it? It's like a garbage dump with a few treasures here and there, you have to dig through a lot of shit to find them. Cess pool.

with regards to the editors area, they say they have everything restored and are just doing some QA on the data before letting editors log back in.

not sure about the public submit.

ya having problems as well
