I am sure you haven't submitted on many of them most of the directories are very slow in approval process and this may take time and are you checking you r listing by visiting in all of them manually?

Did you actually check out these directories that they are actually active and for the quality of submissions before submitting?

Seeing you have a list of the directories you submitted to double check their submission guidelines. Maybe you don't meet their guidelines.

Check out the current listings. What kind of sites/ads are listed? Is there any indication when the listings were added.

Most directory have set their guideline so maintain the seo friendliness of the directory. I suggest to read their tos and guidelines. But if you think they approved to slow in listing your directory for sure there is an option there where in fast approval should be. "A Paid Listing for sure".

If it's something you feel you have to do for yourself, just submit and move on. Whining about why they haven't been accounted for in Google or how long it's been since the submission is wasted time and energy. Actually blindly submitting to general directories is wasted time too.

Move on to better things like creating good content and interacting with the world (online or off) in a non-spammy way.

For early submission you must pay a fee, for free submission service you probably will wait around 2-3 months.

It could be sooner, a little later, or never.

Submit and forget about it - move on.

Yes, this is correct, your site can't have enough links, the link building is a never ending process, because Internet is always changing, some of the links will be dead in this process, so don't wait for those links to appear, build other links to your site!

People here are talking about waiting for months. On dmoz you could wait for years and still not be sure your submission's been accepted.

Think it as your luck if it gets submitted sooner. So many of them don't guarantee the submissions. Just move on building your site great in other aspects.

Well, no, I don't subscribe to or agree with link-building. I'm just saying, if one must submit to directories, just do so and forget about it. The time monitoring backlinks being indexed based on submission efforts could be put to better use, IMO.

You should read the guideline before submission to directories and submit in active directories only
