and the 234th result

was like this

Since it is a directory

And also it is easy to input more categories as for example

Under India ->Tamilnadu(my state or my county)->my city

I found there

It is easy to have more categories but it is very difficult to add Websites to them

That's because you included the very generic search terms "free" and "web".

Yes what you said was correct

But I have already created 1168 categories and I have reaches a stage where I

cannot go back

So whatever happens I do not worry about it

I am going to create that directory

I will announce here once I have completed the categories and other standarad procedures for submission

Also I need some sort of advice from you

As I am thinking of putting Google ads on my directory and that too of editors

If a editor refers a visitor to our site his Google ad will be displayed in all pages

I am in dilemma as either this will work out ot not

and also another idea is to pay editors by the money from Featured links

Which sounds good?

Cross referenced is the key word. There is a big difference between individual categories and cross referenced.

Whow. How usefull a directory with over 500,000 empty categories.
The number of categories won't make you the biggets or best directory. The number and quality of listed sites will.

No they are not.
If I would visit a directory with only empty categories I would leave within a few minutes and never return. I wouldn't submit the website I own and I certainly won't try to find if there are a few categories with listings.
A good directory is based around its content (the listed websites) and will grow in number of categories when neccessary. Not the other way around.
