Is there any difference between a web directory and a blog directory??

i think that like other directories, it gives you a only a platfom with no special benefits. ofcourse it offers you a niche market pertaining to that subject only.

Of importance to what individual? I guess I don't understand what you are after. Yes, a web directory can cover a broad range of websites, whereas a blog directory is specialized. There are many types of web directories that are specialized, they are typically called niche directories. A blog directory is similar to a niche directory in that it doesn't generalize it's listings, but it differs because a blog is a type of website as opposed to a type of content.
