Direcotories and money

Can you make good money off charging to get into directories cause i see a lot of these sites they charge like 1 dollar to get listed?

It depends on how much work you put into it . Any schmuck can throw up a directory in 30 minutes and try charging for links. They'll quickly find that they won't make any money that way, and quit.

You have to spend a lot of time working on your directory, and make it through at least 2 PR updates (that's 6 months) before you start seeing some good money. But it can be done, just look at some of the giants out there.

I spent money learned the business went free for a yr. and became payed.

Its not everybodies belief, but its certainly mine that a good directory will charge when they have something to sell.

My ave is looking to be 3000 a mo. or more, and i just started payed links.

HIGH TRAFFIC you should start to charge,because your site is productive..

I think without PR4+ in the inner pages, it's very difficult for a directory to make money.

page rank is what people ask for when paying for a site submission and that really matter as my exp says

I mostly buy directory links from members I trust or directories that are established!

Inner page prs. doesnt mean its going to get you a popular link, doesnt mean its got traffic, doesnt mean its got position, but it does mean if this site looses back page submitted sites get ancored. I dont understand the value of that unless it has everything.

alot of high pr sites will lead you to believe you need alot of money, but this is un-true. You need alot of money if your buying pr., but if your trying to build a quality page.

1. Submit good links to site
2. reward your submitters by putting sponcored links in editors picks, and so on to give them more traffic and better links.
3. when submiting a site look at sites key words to pull and not ancore your page.
4. check searches to see if page is giving quality links in searches.
5. check back page to see if they have any back links.
6. check in google who this site has been submitting to.
7. I also like to know how long this sites been on the board.

These are some of the things i look for when submitting...this will build my content if i use the correct submissions and key words and tital in my submissions, and optimise my site correctly.

YOU WILL GET TRAFFIC PR SERP< AND SO ON>>>

Understand its not how much content you have its how relative, and how that content works with your page.
It will take alittle longer to get good pr. , but when you do get it, it will be very hard for google to take it.
