What do you guys think of text link ads

Okay guys what do you guys think of text link ads, I have been putting all my effort into this seo, i mean everything I got. From rebuilding my pages, directory submission, ,building more content onto my website you name it I'm doing it, but just not drawing in no speakable traffic yet, and im spending money I don't have.

What do you guys think of text link ads, I am in the process to submitting to all directories hat Aaron wall has provided in his seo book. Maybe this will boost me, I don't know.

I have submitted to every directory on directory critic..

I'm trying to keep finances down as most as possible, so maybe I should just build natural links which i don't mind spending money on a directory if its worth it, and has great weight with google, but I don't want to have monthly fees im spending on advertising right at the moment.

any suggestions?

I'm not sure what you are asking? A lot of good directories ask a one time charge, it usually isn't a monthly fee. And the links that will help the most are other websites that are directly related to your website, with good content. My advice has always been create good content, network with others in your field and exchange links, and if you can write articles and submit them. It just takes time and work to create good pr.

You don't create a website and an hour later have everyone knocking on it's door. It's got to build the reputation, people have to have a reason to look for you in the first place.

Text links with your targetted keywords as the anchor text is the good for SEO.
