Well,
reading the above mentioned links and thinking of my site, which is not listed at Dmoz...

as some of you are experts in this, please advice does http://www.conference.ge has a chance to be listed at dmoz?

As far as I can see (can't read the language) it is lisatble somewhere under the language used on the site. Enough postings by enough different people and an active froum for some time.
Find the language in http://dmoz.org/World/ and than find the subject your site is about.
Only problem I have: it is very slow in loading on my screen

The site is slow, as the host is limiting access from outside Georgia ... [temporary problem]
In the list you provided, there is no "Georgian"

What can I do in this case?

Tariel, at this moment we don't have an active Gergian category. But there is one in Test waiting for an editor with knowledge of this language. Could we encourage you to be that editor? If interested send me a PM.
