Ehh, like 100ths of other directories and at this moment empty (could not find any listed sites)

Give me a reason why I would submiot my website. What do you have to offer.

Building a directory is more than just creating a lot of categories and waiting for people to submit their sites. A good directory (one that has something to offer to people who visit it to look for information) will search and list usefull sites themself.
For webmasters that could submit sites you must offer a amount of visitors that could possibly visit the webmasters site and / or some PR to help improve theior ranking in search engines. If you don't offer any of this most webmasters won't bother to submit.

Yeah,it does.Where do you host your sites.I think most the host have this feature.

Have you considered that naming your directory "Goagle Directory" is very likely a trademark infringement? I would hate to see you put a ton of work into it just to have it taken away.

I would definitely check with a trademark attorney because I cannot imagine it not being in volation of the Google Directory trademark.

Yes, I realize that, but misspelling their trademarked name can still be (and very likely is) a serious trademark violation, especially when it is the same service.

What you choose to do is certainly your decision. I just didn't want to see you waste a lot of time on this before at least discussing it with a trademark attorney to make sure.

Hmmm....ya. I read about this on WHT. They seemed to be very protective of their name.

I read something about adsense site which was actually a very old site but was forced to shut down or change their name or something because of that name. Can't remember where I read it from or whether it is true or not.
