We're proud to announce the final version of the phplynx free version has now been released with some pretty nifty features considering its free, here's my humble offerings. (Most items are in the free; Please note: Items; 11, 18, 30, 35, are only in the full version).

1. Updater: Allows for ease of update without risking losing all your existing files.
2. Anti Bot Text Captcha: Unique to any Directory script you can use your own Text/Graphic Captcha to prevent spamming.
3. Clean and Simple Admin: We deliberately kept the Admin Control Panel simple for ease of use and navigation.
4. Description Limiter: Prevents blank description fields being filled. A minimum of 50 characters must be entered.
5. Listing Manager: Control how many listings you want on one page whether it be 10 to a 100 or more.
6. Paginated Listings: Create paginated listing to prevent overloading a page with too many links, SEO friendly feature.
7. Ban Word feature: Ban swear words, or any other words you want eliminating submission of undesirable sites.
8. Multi payment system: Use more than one processor, accept PayPal - 2Checkout - Stormpay.
9. Currency Management: What currency do you accept? You can add and use whichever you want via the Admin Control Panel.
10. Static Pages: Create an unlimited number of static pages covering as many subjects as you desire.
11. Location Manager: Build an integrated Country/State/Town category structure to search along subject matter. (Full version)
12. Moderation Manager: Allows total control over which files/folders you want to install or uninstall in the ACP.
13. Import Manager: Import easily from existing directory scripts like phpLD and eSyndicat.
14. Index page Categories: This feature allows you to add unlimited Categories on your index page.
15. Reciprocal Linking: Force your submitters to provide a reciprocal link and check for this, you can also notify status to sender
16. Logging Manager: Allows you to monitor and log who's been using you, creating a database of the details. (Multi Function)

40. Fully SEO friendly: This about as SEO an optimized directory script as you are likely to get.
41. Link Management: Manage your links with up to seven link submission status levels at ACP level, Edited - to Pending.
42. Link Notification: Notify Submitter of Link status, pending, declined, under review, banned, and more.
43. Symbolic Categories: Create your own Dmoz type category structure and improve site navigation @category
44. Link Description: Description management allows you to set min/max title and description field lengths.
45. Enable/Disable RSS: Enable or disable your site for RSS (Really Simple Syndication) capability.
46. Sitemap Creator: Built in Automatic sitemap creator, creates your Yahoo, Google friendly sitemap maker on the fly.
47. Boolean Searches: Configure how you want to search via the Admin Control Panel.
48. Suggest Category: Unlike any other directories you can suggest a category while submitting a link.
49. Refer Listing: Allows the user of the directory to refer a listing and details to other users.
50. Contact Listing: Allows the user of the directory to have a contact page for users to contact them specifically.
51. Report Listing: Allows the user of the directory to report a listing, if for example the site content changes.
52. Rate Listing: Allows the user of the directory to rate a listing, this can tell the visitor of the quality of the site.
53. SEO Friendly URLS: Each Listing is configured to the highest level for maximum efficiency in the SEO Market.
54. RSS Feeds: Turn RSS (Really Simple Syndication) on or off via the admin area.
55. ON/OFF Reciprocal: Reciprocal linking can be switched on or off via admin any or all packages.
56. Anti-Bot E-mail: Eliminates auto-submitted e-mail form filling by using the unique anti-bot text/image feature.
57. Enable URL rewrite: Enables generation of search engine friendly and descriptive URLs. (Optional)
58. Pending Payments: Ability to 'Auto Delete' time wasting pending payment listings, if you don't pay you don't display!
59. GZip Compression: Enable HTTP GZip compression with the ability to select the level of compression you desire.
60. Meta Keywords: Allows the submittor to add thier selected Keywords at time of listing, (GREAT SELLING POINT)
61. User Accounts: Allow the user to create an account where they can keep tabs/edit on thier listing and monitor favorite searches.
62. Minimum Description: Prevents submittors from providing no description, must add a set minimum description.
63. Time Limit Listing: This feature allows you to provide a listing for a set period before expiry, e.g, Monthly, Trimester, Semester, Yearly, Unlimited.
64. Enhanced Banning: Now you more control over banning, ban IP address', website address, and even e-mail addess'.

There are of course a few more features such as a built in template editor and and lots of other great features being added to the full version by the Cantufind Network, these are being released shortly. Will keep updating as and when.
