Dmoz, am I missing something?
I’ve tried submitting my site to Dmoz 3 times over the last 3 months and still am not in. Any ideas?

I saw websites listed on DMOZ with domain name in supplemental results lol, in my opinion Yahoo directory is much more serious for online businesses.

I'm lucky that I got into DMOZ within 5 months of existence of my website. Just choose the best category for your website and always be specific on your descriptions and the category you're submitting.

Submit your link only once, As if you keep submitting it, it will be placed at the back. Just wait. Its hard to get into anyway with many lazy editors.

I've had one site waiting over 2 years. I honestly don't think some categories have any active editors. Fortunately it's not that big of a deal to get in, but still a bit disappointing that the volunteers don't seem to be consistently contributing to keeping DMOZ current.
