John, I think you have made a oversight comment. Ok, now that you officially declared this as "moron convention" from the owner of the site. I have been puzzling over how within 7 day period my # of hits has decreased 30% and received numerous messages that my members from CA to NYC can no longer access my site. Does this mean global network has gone Jihad against my site and blocked it all at the same time? My guess was the directory submission and I said I could be totally wrong and looking for logical answer that made sense. I initially thought the same that my work filter my site...however within 7 days it has been filtered from west to east coast. Well, not all work places but I know for a fact that some members wasn't able to access the site...yes all within 7 days I got filtered from my work. Anyways, thanks for turning this thread into a "moron convention". Can you please close this thread as I'll see more ppl ridiculing my issue, thanks.

Directory submissions can do a lot of things for web sites but never add your site to a "global network" that will block it...

Hi, Directories is not to gain traffic but back links it will help your site to have more back link so it will improve your rank at search engine result page.

I think it depends on the quality of the link directories. You need to evaluated first before submitting it. It must be related to your site, with higher page rank, traffic and the quality of content.

Agree.
Most offices use regular software to block websites. Most of them block sites only because of name. This software don't look on website backlinks. They check url and content.

On your site i found this in content "Dirty Rotten #@%#$@*&@(*&@#%^@^%#@!!!!!!!!!" - stuff like this could be a reason why office computers block you.

I mean honestly, we do people think that their partial sex sites are blocked at the work place. I think my 2 year old nephew could figure out that one real quick. I mean come on!! I think John said it right about this being some type of moron convention, but I do not remember getting an invite to this one!
