that means you don't have
IIS installed on your computer. You can turn it on following these steps: (I guess you're using Win XP)
- open the run window
- type
appwiz.cpl and hit the enter button
- the "Add/Remove Programs" window will pop up
- click the "Add/Remove Windows Components"
- the "Windows Components Wizard" window will appear
- select "Internet Information Services (IIS)" from the list
- click on the "Details" button
- the "Internet Information Services (IIS)" window will show up
- check the: ftp service, IIS snap-in, www service (if they are not already checked)
- select the last option (world wide web service) and click the "details" button
- the "world wide web service" window will appear
- check the last two items from the list
- return by clicking the "OK" button on every page opened so far
- the setup will require you to insert the "Win XP CD". Do that and you're all set.
btw, it's
default.aspx and not
default.asp
as an alternative you can use the xml version located in the
html folder:
DirectoryListing.xml
