v7n directory link and signature link.

If your site link in v7n signature it mean that there no sence to add this link into directory because Google count links from the same domain as 1 link. Is it correct?

That's interesting questions, and I also like to hear profesional opinion.
But as far as I know from the other forums I participate (I checked it in my Google link counting too), the bigger number of postings - the bigger number of links counted by Google, even if your url is in your signature. Your link in directory is considered as different url, so it should be counted separatelly.

You really don't believe this, do you?

Using this logic, your signature link in any one of the thousands of Yahoo Groups would have the same value as a listing in the Yahoo Directory. Heck, I guess you only need to have a link on your Yahoo profile then, right?

It's not a bad qestion, Directory.v7n and the Yahoo Directory are both sub-domains of their parent domain. But as John said, sub-domains are treated on their own merit to a certain extent.

Get em all, SEOCO is listed in the SEO Consultants Directory, V7N Directory, Blog Directory and of course I have my forum links and profile page. The More the Merrier.

I know some websites which work only for some small topic like... Pimp LifeJounal profile, or Blogspot features. Some of this sites have pretty good rankings and pagerank with all backlinks which are comming from only blogspot or lifejournal sites...
In this case i can tell that Google count sub-domain as different site 100% !!!

I thought Google was against paid links so why are they counting them?
