Submission works on all of them. A couple are paid but are clearly listed as such.

I haven't yet gone all-out to add my site to millions of directories but I'm planning on doing it soon. These lists are very helpful.

I have one question... are there any directories which we should not list in? Is it safe to work on the assumption that any directory listing is a good thing and it can't hurt to apply to every single one you find?

Hi Dave,

No, there shouldn't be any reason not to submit to a directory. Of course, use your common sense, and if it's a directory full of shady website, then don't bother, but otherwise it should never be a problem.

Check out our comprehensive list of directories. We've listed all of the popular ones and their corresponding "add url" link. There are over 130 directories including "niche" market directories.
