Id check the traffic to the site, what type of sites its linking before paying $50, but i would asure you youll be front page for quite some time, And the page may hit pr6. Ive done it before so i cant say i wouldn't do it.

not bad to spend 50$ as when you chack the traffic and also the no. of backlinks in the directory, you would know by yourself why it is worth spending.

There are a few bid directories worth investing in and that is one of them. But, once you'vemade the initially investment you'll need to be ready to up your bid to stay listed roughly where you started or you'll sink further back and further away from PR and traffic.

I think the traffic is pretty good even on deeper pages as prospective listers scroll through looking for their comfort level.

Of course you could always bid $2001 and knock directorydump to #2!!! :-)

I think it is definitely worth it. I have 5 of my sites listed there and one on the Home Page.

Go for it. You will need some serious $$$ to get on the home page, but those who do get serious traffic each day.

If i spent $5000 on buying rank 1, you can bet that Chris will go re-invest most of that making sure your money way well spent.

I think it is OK, but there are much better links for the money. Over the long haul those annual links will cost you a lot. I recommend to get some permenant links like:

I would try to get traffic from various sources and keeps statistics on them to see which traffic converts. I bet bigweblinks traffic does not convert easily !!!

So does everybody agree that if a directory has got thousands of back links but the page your site will be listed on is only a page rank of 2 or 3 its still worth listing your site on their site.

Yep, I left off a lot of fine directories and that's my point, there are just so many high quality directories that present far better value than big web links, I would definitely NOT recommend it. Unless you like wasting money.

Yes, it is worth submitting. The PR2 pages is not going to be there with that PR all the time. It is one of the most promoted directory. You can expect high PR catagory pages in the coming update.
