If you're asking how much time it will take your directory to get listed..
- it depends a *lot* where you submit.

It usually takes more than a month and sometimes a year(s)

It will take anywhere from 2 minutes to 2 or more years, assuming the site is listable. More than half of the sites suggested are not listable.

Are they back to approving links now? The last thing I remember is that they suffered a huge crash and the editors couldn't get in there. (Maybe it's changed since?)

it is actually getting smaller as they are deleting invalid url's now. but it can take soo long to get a listing. submit and forget for 6 mths then try again

Absolute rubbish. Why did you make that up?

DMOZ is NOT getting smaller. Robzilla recently did the rounds and a lot of sites were deleted, but DMOZ still grew by over 2000 sites that month despite all the deletes.

It depend on DMOZ and their editors.. DMOZ have many editors that are approving submitted sites. If they disapprove surely you will never be listed...

Heh, I submitted a site I used to run like a year or two ago... it probably got trashed during the headaches. Or an editor didn't exist for the category.

I've had a site accepted in 3 weeks and others that were submitted 2 years ago and still waiting (or rejected - you can't tell which).

Depends on where you submit, in other words depends on the editors. I have a website in two languages. I submitted at the same time and local language version is accepted in a week and the English version is still waiting. When you submit your site, check out the editor. If you see "Volunteer to edit this category" sign, you have to wait for a long long time.
