Customerstreet directory

Hi,

I listed on a free directory and a few days later had this guy on the phonr to me bending my ear about this firm Customerstreet.com I am in the UK and so are they. I just wondered if anyone had heard about them and if they are any good. They want one payment of £299 and then £59 per month.

It apparently works like this. We have a florida vacation rental site just starting up and they have no listings for that enquiry in their directory (Which he claims they had 284 requests for it over the last 30 days) If we sign up all that traffic gets sent to our site. No other listings for the that search will be added. They send a report each month showing the searches that were sent to our site.

I don't know maybe i'm skeptical, so anyway I would sign up and he was a little put out by that after giving his best sales pitch. So I thought i would ask here for advice.

Thanks

Hi,i have just left Customerstreet(personal reasons),but i can reasure you, what is on offer is exactly what he tld you,you get registered on their registers with a website which you have total control over(you even get the software to make changes) the price is £299 one of payment and 59,95 monthly for the maintanance. You also get registered on the Trade Register. Before we would ring anyone we had to make sure we needed your service, by checking how many people have been looking for ur service in the last 28 days,by looking at the search engine results. What i thought was good ,is, if u would ring customerstreet u could allways speak to the person that actually sold u the package! So ,if we would have missold, we would have to deal with u direct! IF U HAVE ANY OTHER DAUBTS,YOU ARE WELCOME TO ASK ME.I can honestley say, what gets sold to u is the real thing,if for some reason u are nt happy with anything, u have gt the opportunity to sort it out really quickly, as we had direct and continious access to all entries.
As with any other Sales job,i am sure there will be some people who have nt enjoyed working there, but if u do ur job properly and u can see how it works for the majority of customers,i would say not bad at all

I am even confident enough to give u my email,so if u or any one else has gt any daubts at all please voice them!! Or u could always ring customerstreet, and they will be only be to happy to reasure u!:-)

even if it works .... 59GBP per month ... 284 searches for it ... that's almost 0.5gbp per visitor ... plenty cheaper ways to get better traffic ...

Smile i agree

Hi,
i agree that probably would be too much Money for 285 hits, but first of all the ratio given was for searches for one of the Directories! Customerstreet own 5 dirctories, the Traderegister and I know they have just signed a Deal with BT aswell. So in my Opinion, get in there before they put the prices up!They also give you an enhanced Website(linked to yours if you want to)with different keywords and keyphrases,so you would get found with those aswell as in directories and traderegister(for example a Builder in Preston would use builerpreston, pavingpreston and so on)
I have just signed myself up!And so far i have had 5 referrals in 2 Weeks!!

Catrin
