Lightbulb Aviva directory remains number one, despite fake facts

Quote:
Aviva directory is probably one of the strongest directories ever present in the directory market. It offers fast reviews, with affordable pricings, and a great backlink. It still has many inner pr pages and over 12,000 indexed pages by google.

But unfortunatelly, after its recent drop in google for the keywords, it gets attacked more and more.

After seeing so many bad threads about aviva, I decided to post my opinion and some facts about it.

If anyone reads it, comment on it please, here or on the blog directly.

BTW, Forgive my grammar, I am not a native english speaker

Sorry Rezo, if you'd like you can post the whole article here, but we don't allow links to your own sites, including article sources.

Aviva was a decent directory, but they charged an annual reoccurring fee, which over the course of a few years would have made them extremely expensive, definitely not worth the money, when there are so many other great directories out there that just charge a one-time lifetime fee. John Scott himself came out on record with a post stating how much they suck.

http://www.v7n.com/forums/web-direct...ries-suck.html

Right now there is a lot of speculation on what happened, but for whatever reason, Google is treating them like a red headed step child. The million dollar question is why? Did they violate Google guidelines or did Aviva rise too far to fast and Google gave them the slap down?

But Aviva is not the only directory to be attacked by Google. Two of my favorite directories (eWebpages and Search Monster) were also brutally attacked by Google. Both of them were far superior to Aviva and cheaper IMO. So why do we only talk about Aviva? Some SEO genius like John Scott should look into why some directories got destroyed and some didn't. Was it random? I doubt it, there has to be clues why some did and some didn't.

Psst...John Scott probably already knows, he is just not talking.
