Smile Why Directory doesnt show as back link?

Hi,

I have submitted my site to different paid directories, one month ago..
when i search "mysitename.com" in google, i can find the result from directory sites also....
but when i check the back links "link:mysitename.com" in google, i could not find any directory site.

Pls let me know wt to do now..??

be patient, it can be long but eventually it will come out.
Have you tried the google webmaster tool?

Yeap, Google shows only a sample of backlinks when you run the link command.

As pointed out above, Google shows a very small sample of backlinks when you use the link: command. If you check in Webmaster tools, you will see a slightly larger sample, but this also does not show all the backlinks. If the link shows in cached version of the page, there is no cause for worry.

It could be your submissions are rejected or they are approved but the directories are not indexed yet or probably you are using the wrong tool to check backlinks

Why do you think they show only a sample? Do you have to pay to see the whole thing or is it too much info to post more than just a sample?
