How many times can you submit to DMOZ?
Hello,
I saw some sites listed more than once on DMOZ, is this possible to be listed on different categories?
Thanks

Yes, but it depends on the scope of your website, and how much content it has. The vast majority of websites listed have only one link in one category, and that's all they're going to get. It's a matter of the quantity and quality of content: it takes a long time to build up a resource that's worthy of multiple listings.
One of my websites has listings in two categories. It includes over 100 reviews, about the same amount again of other pages of unique writing and images, and a handful of unique tools. That should give you an idea of the depth of content you need to shoot for although YMMV.
If all you've got is under 20 pages of content (don't count fluff pages such as links, privacy policy and contact forms), then don't bother. Likewise if you've got thousands of pages which were all churned out by semi-literate sweatshop writers who get paid by the yard, don't bother. But if you've got intelligent writing, beautiful images, and/or fantastic tools that cover a wide range of topics, go ahead and bring it to the editor's attention.
I never submitted it to a second category, all I did was suggest to Dmoz that they move my listing to a more appropriate one. So I can't personally vouch for the value of submitting tons of links and hoping some will stick: this approach will likely get you tagged as a spammer.

That's a great information, I learned something today :-)
I was very curious how sites could get listed like I said, now I've got the answer.
My site Natural Elements is more a passion/challenge than to make money. We went to Hawaii a while ago with my wife, it was a great experience, people are wonderful there, and I wanted to highlight the Hawaiian theme on internet. As you can see, if you check our articles, we wanted to give the taste of Hawaii through these products. I think we have some valuable and great articles. Our manufacturers were happy the way we highlight their products :-)
Thank you for this great information

Please submit ONCE to ONE category. Do NOT submit to more than one (its against the guidelines).
Sites can be listed in more than one category (many sites have 100's of listings), but the decision to list a site in additional categories is something done by the editors, NOT by submitting.

I was just curious.
Good.Things I know your feeling, I was frustrated not to be listed too for a while, but I understood what was wrong, last time I corrected my mistakes and later was in.

As far as I remember, I submit only once to DMOZ last July but until now my site is not listed.
