I was searching for a list of Free Directories with a good PR and came across this.

I paid for my link. I didnt really set out to create a link directory just for the sake of making links. I Actualy want to create a regional buisness directory that people can use as a reference ... was I wrong ?

I'm not in favor in buying links. Anyone can buy links as long as they have enough money. Making your site listed in a directory for free is much better because you got listed based on the quality of your site and not because you paid for it...
