Yes of course, i still submit our site to related category . traffic is much important than page rank. in the later on the directory will have page rank.

I submit to all the directories. Majority of those links are going to be worth right now. Who knows the owned of that directory might keep on working on making that directory rank better and increase PR over time.

There is no way that a link does not pass "some" link juice (not pagerank)
that is what I am after, letting the search engines know what my site is about

Trafic and PR are in a tight relation. You must have both of it to form a succes web directory.( or site)

I still submit my site especially if it is free. Traffic is very important and I nevermind if that directory is nofollow.

I will still submit to that directory. PR is not that important nowadays. The best metrics to look at now is traffic.
