Thumbs down Help in choosing directory script!

I bought a new domain yesterday which is going to be an Asian bussiness Directory.
However i am having trouble in choosing a directory script.
I have used in the past phpLD(phpLinkDirectory) and i was somewhat satisfied.
Though i saw and the indexu script, which has some really good reviews and seems to have more options by default.
Do you have any experience with that scripts? Which one would you suggest(and why if possible)
Are there any alternatives? I tried some freewares but they were not anywhere near the standards for serious bussiness directory.

Thanks for your time beforehand!

Best regards,
Thanos P.

I use and recommend PHPLD 3.3 as it really does a good job for me.

Thank you olddocks that link was really useful, I also was considering some directory software
and did not know where to start, as taking the first Google results not always bring you what is best.
