DMOZ Listing

I had a DMOZ listing and now it's gone.

Did something happen with them?

They sometimes move sites when reorganizing categories, and they sometimes change categories. I don't know what category your site was in before but it's now in http://dmoz.org/Business/Investing/R...stment_Models/

Somehow I think they are in need of people to update the submitted sites. it takes months before your site gets listed after you submit to DMOZ.

The new site I put up last Friday had a visit from dmoz

Found this in my stats:
http://editors.dmoz.org/editors/editunrev.cgi

Probably a non-human visit by a probe?
Now let's see if it gets listed and when!

It can take minutes and it can take a year or two to get listed. It depends on how active the category editor is, or if the category has anyone editing it.

The visit you had was by an editor, tigermann, so it is likely that the site has been added or rejected already. What's the domain?

The site wasn't accepted. You could ask about it as www.resource-zone.com and try and find out why it wasn't accepted.

Hmm! It was reviewed quickly - shame it was the wrong result!
