Directories are doing well - the latest directory Google PR stats

Here are the latest PageRank stats, based on the 10,000+ directories in the database at Web-Directories.ws.

The following table is a comparison of PageRank before and after the latest update.

The number of directories in our sample has grown by 14% so anything above that can reasonably be considered an increase. There seems to be a particular significant increase in PR5 and PR7 directories. PR2, PR3, PR4 and PR6s stayed about the same. The percentage amount of PR0s decreased and the number of N/A directories has decreased substantially.

I realize that these numbers cannot be considered a perfect statistical sample as many outside factors are involved. For more information please see the post in our directory blog.
