How to get listed in DMOZ?

HI all! i have tried my best but not got my website listed in DMOZ-google directory so what are reasons can you tell me plz and also how to get listed?

All you can do is submit ONCE to the ONE best category. If you have done more than that, you have been hurting your chances. If the site is listable, it will eventually get listed.

It takes lots of time to appear around 6 months to 1 year. Choose the best category and description must define your website. Submit it and forget it for 6 months. Do not submit again and again. I have worked for 7 websites and 5 are approved. Only 1 took 7 months time rest of the websites approved after 10 months.

There is NEVER a need to resubmit.

Baloney re the 6 months. Most sites listed were never submitted in the first place (editors found them from other sources). Of those that are lsited that were submitted, the average time is around 3 months (andeditor posted somewhere a while ago this data, but can not find the original source) --- (buts thats the average - can vary from days to years).

In my expereince of SEO forums, in more than half the threads about "why my site not listed" are started by people who's sites are not listable; so most sites just do not meet the criteria (ie unique content that adds value to the category)

it is really so hard to get listed in DMOZ. i couldn't succeed it yet.
