What Category should my site fall under?

Hey all my website is based on contest, it's a forum for getting help winning the contests that you enter

however every time i go to add my link to a directory i am lost and cannot decide what section to put my link under because it is kind of different from the normal categories.

votervirus.com is my site, sign up for the forum if you need to see what type of things go on there, i think i explained it well enough

When you are purely mentioning that it is a forum, why would you add it to an entertainment category?
In most of the directories, you would find the category - Internet > Forums

It's the best place where you can submit it in my view.

haha okay thanks guys, i have not yet even seen any forum sections but i see now, thanks so much, also i added a little more content but it is still based on forums so i guess i should start doing that.

Had a think about this one myself...forums is such a general category hat you do get lumped in with everyone else...but at the end of the day, it is a forum...so into "Forums" it should go!

Hint: We don't primarily categorise websites by technology employed (forum, blog, PHP, whatever) - we categorise them by subject matter. That's the whole point of a directory isn't it?

Very true...but would you lump a forum in the same category as a website? Not sure on this point, I see a forum as a separate entity to a website or blog.

Your site is unique and has tremendous chance of becoming famous.

As far as categories are concerned you can choose, Entertainment, Online Games, Fun, Internet-> Forum.

or you can search in directory by typing main keyword there, you can see various theme related sites in a particular category.

This will make a clear picture in your mind.
