What totally free websites are there that are banner free?

Hello!
What totally free webhosts are out there that are banner-free?
I would love to use frames, but the banners on freeservers.com are 90 pixels in size!
then the banners show up twice on screen! I think this would annoy readers to my site.
Click the link to see what i mean.
http://www.radiocontrolledcars.8m.net/frames
scroll to the bottom of the left hand window and click on "nikko"
I don't really mind the banners and pop-ups, but I would realy like the banner smaller. I have heard of fateback.com, but every time i try and join, it says i am already registered. The banners aren't bad at just 20 pixels, so are there any other totally free websites withe banners this small?
Any help appreciated,
Jason
PS I have tried united.net.kg, but they don't allow guestbooks/forums!
This is essential to my website.

I used lycos.co.uk some time ago for a little BB site (I used phpBB) . I think they were offering 50MB with relatively decent bandwidth. They did have banners but for some reason the banners never showed if the site had frames.

now days, there just is no reason to use the free sites. you can get a 500 meg,10 gig bw, pop server, etc, etc, for $5 US a month, that is only $60 US a year with $8 US for a domain, that is just too cheap to mess with the freebies.

luck,
robert

I have to agree, you can get great hosting at amazingly low costs, most are even flexible w/payment methods - why even hassle with free hosting?

Free hosting is for the birds. I pay less than $1 a week for my site, including the additional domain renewal elsewhere.

Anyone can afford $1 a week.

They seem to offer some pretty good packages - i guess you just need to be willing to stick with for a year, which seems like eternity in the webhosting business

I suppose, but I prefer the annual contract. To me, it's a lot less hassle, because I'm not going anywhere. Nothing irritates me more than waiting for my domain name to propigate across the Internet.

And I'm not even selling stuff on my site. It's just a personal space.

Try looking at www.free-webhosts.com.

There are many banner free sites.

Many require you to post in forums as 'payment'.

Many are truely free but they don't just take anyone.

Have fun hunting.
