Does this exist?
Is there such a thing as root access to managed software? I want to rent the whole email, anti-virus and sql server portion but I also would like the control of direct access to a real or virtual root.
Maybe I'm way off base.

I've got shared unix, shared windows and mosso "cloud."
The advantage of the cloud is running unix and windows from one account.
The disadvantage is that Mosso is a giant beta test and I'm one of the patients.

You need to address the question to the web hosting company. (Mosso)
If they allow that you will get that if not you will decide stay there or leave

On shared account? Hmm - they really love you, because that kit install for whole server not for only one account.
You moved them to do that. Other customers will be happy  |

If u get controll on it means u has to manage all and also u will not get technical support from their support team. nbetter take unmanaged server from godaddy or any other. Then install antivirus , SQl on it |
