cheap web hosting... I mean really cheap

Guys,

I am a starter. I need to learn by getting my hands dirty. I am planning to start building my website, but I have very shallow pockets. Is there a webhosting service that is like really cheap (= dirt cheap) ?

what do you guys recommend ? and which is the best place to buy a web-domain name ?

Please excuse me if this is a trivial question. But I trust you guys will patiently help me out

If you are looking for a REALLY cheap host, try siteflip.com. That is dirt cheap and the reliability is okay for that price. For domain, just go for godaddy or namecheap.

At OP, if you need cheap hosting company with free website builder and freу domain names, think mmhosting.com and webhostingbuzz.com will be good for that.
They offer all these things for free.

At your start better go with free web host. Register domain name - that is paid, then subscribe with free web host and practice. That will be the best way to learn things

you seem new so,try to go for a company thats experienced and genuine.
and have provided to many customers and users.
hosting companies generally price their shared hosting services at 3-10 Dollars/month(mostly 4-5)
thats pretty cheap when you consider the charges of VPS and dedicated.
try going for a reliable host.

free hosts have almost zero support, plus ads on your page, you can find hosts with even a buck a month...

I've worked for a couple of hosting companies, and I've got to be honest when I say that you get what you pay for. As far as cheap hosting that still offers quality service I'd suggest hostmonster.com or bluehost.com.

I've written a couple of articles (available at my site, or through eZine) that can help you get established as well as reviewed a few hosts and compared their services. I also exclusively use one of those two afforementioned hosting companies (and no, I've never worked for either). I've been with them for years and have had nothing but grade A service.
