Well, if you ask, all the web hosting providers will promote their website and will tell you to signup for it. What you should see is whether the web hosting provider provides you the package according to your requirements. Do not try to choose a hosting provider who provides Cheap web hosting and offers you Unlimited Disk space and Bandwidth as Unlimited Disk space and Bandwidth is not possible in the Hosting industry.
First, make sure what kind of website you wish to have. Select a Hosting platform for your website, Linux or Windows. If your websites are developed using ASP, ASP.NET etc. then you will have to choose Windows. Otherwise, you can choose Linux.
Second, think about the visitors your expect on your website and the Disk space you would need which would give you a good idea about the package you should choose.
Then, choose a hosting provider who provides 24x7 support thorough different means of communication so that you can contact them if you need any assistance.
Choose the one which is Affordable and provides quality service. Again, do not go for Cheap web hosting as this won't help you.
Choosing a hosting provider which can upgrade your package at any point of time with No cancellation or upgrade fees would be a good option.
Hope this helps.

Now, people no longer believe that cheap hosting plans are synonymous with low quality and poor service. I can't agree with this because there are many reliable and cheap web hosting providers. I think that it will be more productive to contact the company's support team and tell them what you are going to host. As for recommendation, have a look at espinda.com, serverpoint.com and inmotionhosting.com - these are reputable companies and I am sure that you will choose the best one for you. good luck.

In any case you'd better get started with shared web hosting account. No need to over pay on the start. As soon as you get started you will understand if you need to upgrade or move

Do not invite anything. Just start with the simpliest. I think that shared web hosting account is right solution to go in this way

I assume that to get started you need at least understand what you need and what to look for. if you can leave more information here about your prospective web host I assume that you will get more recommendations.

Go for any unlimited offer from good host like godaddy, hostgator or liquidweb.

Not sure anything unlimited is required in this case as it's just a start-up project.
What scripts are you planning to use? How many databases? How many visitors do you expect to have? Where are they located?
I guess if it's a graphic web site, server location is significant in your case. You may ask your potential provider for the download file.

I think hosting In a shared environment might be suitable for your needs.
Try scanning the Internet for a potent shared provider.

I just posted a review on HostGator (I migrated from Lunarpages to HostGator a couple of weeks ago)
But I guess you should go for those unlimited storage/bandwidth

If you told us your specific requirements, it would be easier to recommend you web hosting provider. I am sure that comparison research will help you to make good decision and find nice place to host your web sites. Have a look at webhostingpad.com, exmasters.com and apthost.com - compare these companies' offers and choose the most appropriate place.

I am not sure that you will have nice hosting experience if you choose the company which offers unlimited space and bandwidth - the server can be overloaded by the number of people who have shared partition on each server. I think that you will not regret having looked at globaltap.com - it will meet all your expectations.

At present, thesitewizard.com is hosted at FutureQuest, and indeed has been on this host since 2000. So far, I have found them to be reliable, honest and competent, with the people at the helm appearing to be people who understand the software and issues that surround running web servers. Their prices are not the cheapest around, but I find that they are well worth the price. The old adage, "you get what you pay for", seems most appropriate in their case, and I would rather pay that few extra dollars for their reliability and competence than to find my sites down for long periods at a stretch, costing me more money than the few bucks I can save in hosting fees.

I think that you are right. If I were you I wold act in the same way. Better pay little bit more to be sure you will have all that you are paying for. Sometimes reviews can be useful to read before signing up
