Free vBulletin Host??

I am thinking of purchasing vBulletin but don't want to pay for hosting as well as the purchase alone will use up all my cash. Anyone know of any good free vBulletin hosts or hosts that you can host the software on?? Yes, I know its cheep, but the software cost a lot on its own. Please post suggestions.

Actually any shared web hosting company with right version of database will be able to handle that. In ant case if you have some doubts I assume you can visit Vbuletin forums and specify all details there

If you're looking for a free host I think it would be good to use a free forum software such as PHPBB rather than a paid version. Just my thought!

What is your budget? Good hosting doesnt necessarily cost that much, and can save you a lot of headaches down the road. With free hosting you can usually expect a lot of down time and slow loading pages, which is not ideal for a forum.

You can definitely find an affordable host for vBulletin. I would advise against using such a resource intensive script on a free host.

I absolutly agree. Many hosts will start arround 30-50$ a yr if you just email there sales department. Or if you want to pay monthly its alittle bit more expensive in the long run (mostly due to pp fees) although you can get a good host for $4.95 a month or so.

If you need that for free I suppose the best place to ask about this would be freewebspave forums. They are the forums you will be able to get a lot of information about free web host and place your request as well

Vbuletin support forums should be best place. I believe there might be the list of the recommended web hosting companies as well

In my view "Bluehost" is the best choice for vBulletin forum. But if your site has very good traffic then I recommend you to go for VPS server & avoid further trouble of future.

Most free forum hosts offer phpbb, not vbulletin. If you need VB, I guess you will have to pay a small hosting fee every month.

I think he wants to purchase the vbulletin license, but doesnt want to pay for hosting.

Its possible to find a free host, but if your going to be opening a popular forum I would suggest paying for hosting. You can find hosting for a few bucks a month, if you can afford VB you should be able to afford hosting.
