Microsoft BizSpark

I'm not sure if most or any of you guys/girls have heard about this program from Microsoft. But I just wanted to get a feel from everyone or some that have possibly used it to see what areas of development that it's being used in. I have a few colocation customers that swear by it and that's the only way that they would have ever been able to go into business. We can't use it of course just because of the initial start-up requirements, but it definitely would have saved us some cash in the beginning.

I read the review at Techcrunch that states "To qualify a startup needs to have been in business for less than three years and have less than $1 million in revenue.
Is that Microsoft is going to provide support to open source software?

Which exactly. I have some doubts about Microsoft regarding that
