This thread is like fine wine... it gets better with time.

It's a useful warning to anyone contemplating using WebSitePros.

traef06 is liked by many
Recently I was contacted by WebSitePros through Discover and they talk a good game and ask a lot of questions so I agreed to their 30 day trial. What they gave me was a joke. It was going to be way too difficult to work with them on the content as they totally missed the boat.

I cancelled before the 30 days was up and they had 4 people call me to try and convince me to stay.

After scouring the Internet I was able to find many others who were unhappy.

I would suggest avoiding them although I don't really know of a good alternative. Has anyone here used SiteSell? I here they have some good packages, but I don't have any experience with them at all.

salzwhat is liked by many
I tried WebSite Pros through my Discover Merchant account and my experience was about the same as the other posts here. Outrageous pricing and below mediocre web design. Horrible support. They are a joke to say the least. I built my own site and got top Google ranking within 2 weeks, while paying $8.00 Mo. for web hosting. Unfortunately I would have to pay $99 to get my original domain name from them.
