Hostgator VPS hosting, did you try it?

Few days ago hostgator announced a soft launch of their VPS business, I think initially they are offering VPS to only 200 customers.

Did any of the members here bought that VPS hosting?

How do you think their VPS service will be? any better?

I have heard bad things about host gator and think that you'd better check more VPS hosting providers as well, as the hosting market becomes more and more competitive nowadays.
Have a look at webhostingbuzz.com, VPSland.com and 7Host.com.

You know, these guys know how to keep everything working and you can compare their VPS hosting offers and choose the best place for you.

They do have a lot of the customers with them and I suppose each of them got the same email

7host is a virtual unknown. webhostingbuzz has had its share of negative reviews (like any of the bigger hosts out there).

Which will make it rather hard to get feedback on any other forums than their support forums, where these customers will meet and share opinions.

I have a friend that has a VPS from hostgator, and i've never heard him complain.
