To be honest, there's really no such answer. It all depends on what you;re looking for in a hoster and what you're needs are.

You're asking the equivalent of "Who has better smelling air? New York or Jersey?"

Personally I wouldn't even put GoDaddy in the top 100 hosting companies. This is mainly due to their slow templated response. I guess it would be impossible for them to provide quick support due to the size of their company.

As drmike said it really does depend on your requirements and preferences. If you let us know your requirements I'm sure we will be able to point you in the right direction.

Also, keep in mind that there’s more then a handful of reputable web hosting companies which cater to specific markets and target certain niches. You have companies such as Canada Web Hosting, Rack Space and The Planet who are after the Managed Hosting, Enterprise Hosting and Collocation market. You also have companies such as HostGator, Soft Layer etc that are after only Shared, VPS, Dedicated and Collocation marketplace.

Provide some additional details on what you are looking for.

Sincerely,

I agree that godaddy is good for domains but not for web hosting.

Actually, I can disagree with you all.
Godaddy is good for domains...but it`s kinda bad at hosting services, so be careful

I would not go with either there is no such thing as unlimited hosting search around and you'll see how this is them lying to you and only going to set you up for disappointment when you do grow.

I look forward to you (and the other folks here who have made incorrect suggestions) rereading the original post and noting that the poster is looking for a host that accepts moneybooker. Last time I checked, neither godaddy or hostmonster accept moneybooker.

In what sense is that? Godaddy's shared hosting is slow. Hostmonster's is not impressive. Neither company is the biggest host size wise or domain count wise. 1and1 is biggest website host. Not that it necessarily makes them a leader to look up to.

*cough*

To the best of my knowledge, that list is up to date. I;m trying to figure out if it's actually a count of domains registered or domains actually hosted by them. Some of the companies listed are hosts first, domains registrars second.

That list is based on number of domains (somehow). It does not based on quality of service.

I would certainly stay away from GoDaddy, Network Solutions, BlueHost, Yahoo! and HostGator based on some personal experience some of these firms (they are in the first 15 of that list) and the horror stories I have heard from reliable sources.

And.. 1and1 are #4 on that list. What's wrong with that if you want to use it as a basis of making a hosting decision on?

This thread is just going to end up as endless circle of bickering IMHO. Everyone is going to have their own opinion.

My decision would be based on recommendations that stated that the quality of the service was excellent not on the quantity of sites hosted there.

Why don;t we just go ahead and lock it then? Seems like most of the folks replying aren't reading the request for moneybooker support anyway.
