Has anyone heard or dealt with this company? I am starting my first site and I want to have a reliable host.

I know them as a reliable hosting company. their support is very good. However their plans are best for small web sites.

They're reliable (their support is fantastic though), but sometimes their servers were a bit slow (they had like 500 websites to a server). I used to use them a year or so ago.

I use www.hostdepartment.com they have servers located all over the country
this really means alot, as it shows their not little, and I love their 24/7 livechat with
tech and support people, I have always gottin my problems solved in just a few
minutes of chating, and these people will actualy go into your account and do
what ever it takes to setup, fix, currect any problem, then will show you how too.

But they are not cheap, I always checkout the company's first and I look at
the price's, if they are too low, it's a scam, or it's a small bussiness that is
offering to low of cost on resources to drive in customers and this type of
hosting company will close their doors as soon as they findout what they are reciveing
in payments does not equal the cost of the resources they offer so freely.

Please be carefull when shoping around good rule of thumb, if you take your drive space amount they are offering, times that by no less then

cents then take
the bandwith they are offering and times that by no less then $1.00 to $2.00
then add those valuse together and it's cheaper, run, run, run away with your
equety. it just can not be done.

example 100MB drive space X

= $2.00 and 50GB bandwith X $2.00 = 100.00
100.00 + $2.00 = $102.00 at the lest they can cut that in half with the first offer
as they get it cheaper then that.

you pay for what you get..
