Finding a Webhost? Bluehost or Inmotion

I have been searching for a good webhost for a longtime. But I can't make a desicion. I am thinking between Bluehost or Inmotion, what do you think?

I've heard alot of bad things about blue host. I'm not a fan of there unlimited model as we all should know there is no such thing as an unlimited hard drive.

As far as Inmotion they are charging you 2 years prepaid. I don't think that is fair to the consumer to lock you in for that ammount of time. Companys change and go esspecialy in this economy. I wouldn't pay more then a quarter in advance.

It also seems that they are offering unlimited.

I hope this helps.

Both of them should be able to offer you what you need but in regards to bigtime resellers you may want to reconsider some others into your options since your having a hardtime. Alot of us offer webhosting, but with your BlueHost request I think Hostgator or ShrkSpce would be a good choice if you want alternatives to those 2.

Bluehost is Nice if you looking for WordPress based hosting.
Other one which I like the most is Hostgator....
Good thing about Bluehost is they give same servie like Hostgator + 1 free domain and they have only 1 pckage..

I haven't used Inmotionhosting, but I have tried Bluehost's twin, Hostmonster, and they are, among the budget hosts, a decent choice.

Hostgator does end up being more expensive than BH, but based on in my experience with both, you get what you pay for.

HM = HostMonster? They are the same company as BlueHost just a different brand. I would recommend avoiding that company in general. In my experience the servers were sluggish and packed. Another one you want to avoid is GoDaddy. The best "unlimited" host I've used is HostGator. I would recommend giving them a shot.

If you're happy with them don't be worried It was an issue I had with them a year ago regarding downtime with one of their servers. Their overall preformance may of changed since then, but the support is still horrible imho.

Inmotion is better than Bluehost. They stand out compared with other companies that offer the same services. Inmotion is quite fast and very reliable; the two main reasons why they received good reviews provided by CNET. I wasn’t surprised when they earned a perfect three of three stars from CNET which is obviously not just given to any below-quality web hosting company.

First of all, Hostgator wasn't one of the services the OP was looking at according to the title of this thread.

So, that leaves Bluehost out of your suggestions. Why should they consider Bluehost over Inmotion?

Have used Bluehost for about 7 years and never really had major problems with them.

Couple of things you might want to consider though is that Bluehost doesnt do backups of your sites and mine got hacked.

Also if you sell websites for clients hostgator might be a better choice as you get to sell them webhosting as well on a recurring basis.

The original poster wants to know which of the two firms they are considering you would recommend.
