Jooster.com - Reviews?
Has anyone heard of Jooster or used them before?
I was having a look around and I found them to be pretty cheap, but I just wasn't sure if cheap means bad quality.
If anyone has used them or knows a little about them I would love to hear it.
Cheers

Looks like a reseller with 18 sites hosted on the same server...
The reseller uses fdcservers.net based in the U.S.
The company used directi.com to register the domain on march 29, 2004...

Is this a good thing or a bad thing?
I have never looked at hosting for myself before...
Is 18 sites too many?

no... 18 sites is extremely low...
It's good in the sense that the server is basically empty (so you'll only be sharing resources with 18 other sites).
It's bad in the sense that why aren't more clients using this company (what's the longevity/long-term outlook for this company)?
What happens to you and the other clients if and when the company shuts down?
Just some questions to consider...

I read that they got the domains from another company so I'm not to worried about that, I'm only going to be paying $25 for the domain and the hosting, which is pretty low I feel. They said that they have financial obligations to keep for the next 12 months at least, so i guess they shouldn't close before then and even if they do. It's not a heap of money, and I will not loose my domain just the hosting.

Purchasing the domain through the hosting company is usually a bad idea. If they register it in their name, they will have control over it and may not let you take the name later if you ever want to switch hosts. Too many people have posted here telling how they lost their domain name because of that reason.

yes, their price is very cheap. it might because of they are using cheap servers at FDC? I am not sure about FDC currently, but heard bad things about their network before
in hosting, always remember you get what you pay for

Jooster
I have a few domains registered and hosted with Jooster and so far the service has been great. I have needed a few technical questions answered and these have been answered quickly. Plus, so far there have been no times when the sites have been down.
It is said you get pay for what you pay for, but so far, for $30 Jooster has delivered.
