Because there is no such thing as unlimmited hosting. All those hosts lie to you and have clauses on there TOS and AUP that allow them to prevent you when you use more then X% resources.

Bob Barr has this one. Supposedly you get more cred with dedicated server but question it.

As far as I know this kind of web hosting is called SEO hosting and if you are using ordinary VPS with dedicated IPs that is not the same.

Shared hosting services is more than likely to come with basic templates for websites that allow small businesses to fill in the blanks and create their personal websites. With some work, a basic website can be very useful for customers and people asking.

most sites are not big enough for dedicated servers and a good % of small retailers street level they merely want a calling card they are not looking for the shipping headache.

You wont get unlimited everything for $7 per month! There is a catch, in most cases it comes as CPU usage. Shared hosting is for small sites, no matter what the hosts say. They host 1000s of sites on one server and offer unlimited everything for each one. How real!

Yes IP is best but I have never know any site not to have an IP address. SSL certs although can be written using webmin or other CPanels they are usually not acceptable SSL's so you have to go out an purchase an acceptable SSL which has no difference that I have seen. For that matter it is also suggest to have dedicated server by better search results and found that not to be truthful information either.

Reseller account gives you independent control panels (cpanel) for each domain you host.

Shared account may however allow you to host multiple domains, but there is only one cpanel and gets in trouble all the sites may be affected.

Why Shared Hosting? I would say, it is to host personal sites, blogs. Also, if you are in new to online business and are planning to launch any business site, you may start with the Shared Hosting plan. Upgrading to further options like Reseller, VPS or even Dedicated is available at any point of time

Unlimited Nothing in this world, companies use unlimited world to attract only shared hosting clients. On staying hundred s of the accounts. If a person uses a bandwidth of making the server and the company to terminate accounts that's why people buy VPS or a dedicated server, you will have your own server, no bandwidth or a charging problem.

Shared hosting is the most popular form of web hosting. This can be attributed to the fact that's cheap, easy to use and is readily availaible unlike a VPS and a dedicated server. A shared hosting account is ideal for small or medium size websites as it comes with it's own flaws. Which is mainly the fact that you share a server with several other people. This can cause overloading which can in turn slow down the server.

Yes even my hosting company on shared hosting provides unlimited bandwidth and diskspace. A normal website taking shared hosting plan wont go beyond the limits set by hosting companies. If you starting up a new website go with shared hosting for a while and then move on to higher plans as your needs increase. That saves you money.

Unlimited hosting DOESNT EXIST! Can you buy a hard drive for your computer with unlimited space? No. Same for bandwidth, there is no such thing as unlimited.

Shared hosting accounts are all sharing the same server(s) and have limited customizable options as compared to a VPS or Dedi.
