cPanel on your iPhone and iPad

I made a thread a couple months ago about bringing an FTP, file manager, or even cPanel to these iDevices and it turns out they have them now...

http://www.cpios.com/

Has anyone tried them? I downloaded through the app store on my iPad 2 and it has been very useful for last minute uploads and fixes.

app looks good but the price is more. But if hosting companies can provide it for free for their customers, it would be nice.

Works great. There are many cPanel and WHM apps for iDevices in the app store now. However, there's a thing they need to add in their app. They need a function that enables iDevices to upload files using file manager. There's one app that only allow creation/deletion of files using file manager.

I have used them a couple of times now and find them to be very useful. It is great now that I can use my phone to take care of some of the business I need to attend to quicker when I am not at a computer.

Why is that?

If there is some kind of security threat then please tell us.

Since I'm using a web hosting service with WordPress, I just go to my admin panel and post my pictures and files directly. Androids don't have stable apps for cPanel and FTP's.

There aren't any known security flaws at all. His post is just plain lack of knowledge. If you look at the app coding, there aren't any snippets linking it back to any servers. It just allows device to server interaction only which makes it perfectly safe in my opinion.
