If you're looking for something nice being said about Superloser.net, then stop reading.
Back in July, I lost my job and thus was unable to pay for my hosting. I was sent emails telling me that my account had been suspended. I replied to these emails telling them to cancel my account, as I would no longer be able to pay for it. I received no responses. Fast forward to now. I have been billed for August, Spetember, October, November and will probably be billed for December unless I take drastic measures and put a block on my checking account (which costs even more money). I have emailed them over 25 times and called well over a dozen times. This is very unprofessional, and has me very angry. This company SUCKS and should be wiped off the face if the earth. I have done everything within my power to contact them to cancel my account with them, and they keep right on billing me for a service I no longer use or want.
I see why they can charge such a low price for their hosting - everything else sucks.

I'd contact your credit card company, and maybe the Attoney General. The "refusal to cancel" scam is common in crap hosts (notably, EV1), and attorney gemerals (consumer protection offices) often do something about it.

Unfortunately, it's not through a CC comapny, but through my checking account. I have two sites hosted through them, and want to keep one of them. I just want to cancel the one. If this keeps up, I'll move the one I want to keep and block them from billing my account. Luckily, I own the domain I want to move.
Like I said, I have done everything they ask when a customer wants to cancel an account. Sent emails with all of the correct information, called, etc. What more can I do?

Unfortunately, they often just want to keep billing you no matter what you do.
My own experience:

I'm just so frustrated and angered by this, I'm at a loss. I have been very civil in my emails, except for the last one. I lost it. I'm sick of being billed for a service I don't use and, more importantly, don't want. I don't know what else to do.

Best thing is to:
1. Talk to your attorney general. Seriously, I've had great luck with that. The consumer protection division is really eager to go after fraudsters.
2. Talk to your attoney. Often times just having your attorney contact them will be enough to get a refund.

I contacted the Virginia office of the Better Business Bureau and sent them a snail mail letter. Don't know which one did it, but they finally cancelled my account. About damned time.
Thanks for the help.

Avoid SuperUser.net at all costs
I have to say - I too am having a terrible time with superuser.net. I host 2 of my own sites and several client sites there. I recently added a new site & made the huge mistake of letting them purchase the domain name for me. I figured I would move the domain at a later date and save myself some time that day. WRONG! They purchased the domain & placed a registrar lock on it (which I specifically asked them not to do in the sign up form)...and now they are ignoring all communications and despite numerous requests they have not removed the lock.
I have notified the Better Business Bureau and am hoping for a civil resolution to this...but not counting on it.
Unfortunately my next step is going to be getting my credit card company involved. Having been in business long enough I know I can refuse the charge and put a block on them charging anything further. This will certainly get the first part settled, as they will cancel my account immediately...but then I have to clean up the hosting mess & reclaim my domain name.
Needless to say - I am not happy and I at this point I am going to insist that my clients move hosting companies with me. Business practices such as theirs are shady at best.
My point here - stay clear of them. Aside from the no support issues - they employ seedy business ethics.
