HostGator vs JustHost

Between HostGator and JustHost, which one do you prefer?

I prefer Hostgator, though I may be a bit partial given that I've had my sites hosted by them for what must be 9 years now. I've only used Justhost for testing purposes, for a shorter time (1 year), but the experience wasn't bad. From among the budget providers, I would say they are a valid choice, with decent uptime and good server performance -- at least in my case.

For both of hosting, I think hostgator is the best one as your reference.

Hostgator is a great provider, but it seems that they are being bought out by EIG, and they have a reputation of going downhill with new companies they purchase.

But at the moment HG is still much better than justhost.

My opinion is bias since I have always used Host Gator but I can tell you from experience that they're extremely reliable, have fantastic support and are very affordable. The one thing I really like about Host Gator is that you have the option to pay per month rather than paying annually, it's a lot easier for me.

Why have you concentrated on those companies only?

Hope HostGator is the best one to go with.. However, i would suggest you check out some reviews.. Because, it is very necessary go read the customer reviews before choosing a web host. You get actual experience from existence customers.

There are many other reliable companies.
Check out an offer section to find the best option for your needs, the OP.

I would recommend Hostgator, any day. You may find it interesting that the company that owns Justhost is taking over Hostgator as well. Still don't expect much change.

If it's between the two definitely HostGator. I agree, I really don't think much will change with EIG buying out Brent other than the company continuing to grow.

I have no idea about JustHost. So, cann't compare those two. But heard JustHost are also a great company.

I have a VPS Hosting with hostgator and I am very happy with their support and service. I had few technical problems with my “www”, “without www” and “redirecting 301”…and I didn’t know I could solve those problems using my htaccess file…and when I talked to help desk those guys really helped me a lot to solve my problems….in fact solved my problem correctly….

So happy with their support and happy with HostGator. I am sure JustHost also has many happy customers....
