Free or Trial Hosting which supports these things?
let's make it short, invested a lot, currently broke, have something in mind to monetize but my hosting is pain in the a$s, host the name hosting does not support some features which are required, dreamhost is recommended one but they give trial on cc which i don't have, i need a hosting which allows SSL connections (https, facebook n twitter connect) MySQLi supported, PHP 5.2 (above 5.2 doesnt work) host the name doesnt support MySQLi and SSL in my current package, so anyone knows any free or trial hosting like dreamhost with these features? i just wanna monetize a little with trial then go for full time hosting.. thanks

I haven't dealt with 000webhost as a customer, but i have had to contact them regarding abuse on their network and they dealt with it promptly and professionally which is a good sign IMHO.

If you want to use the trial version of host sites so be careful and choose the good host site. Because some thief can fraud with you and take your useful data. [link removed]

I think it's better to use trial hosting than free.
Google and you will find enough companies which provide that.

Try the freehostia.com, their Chocolate plan should do it. It is free and very positive it does what you have asked for.

I have used a lot of free hosts in the past. By far the best was BYETHOST.com, until 3 months ago you would benefit for 20 free mysql databases, unlimited subdomains, unlimited bandwith, php 5.2. Now the limit is 5 mysql dbf, and the number of subdomains is limited, and they added some other restrictions.
You could also try ZYMIC.com and freehostingeu.com - never had problems with them. In total I used about 70 subdomains from them.

Free hosts may not be suitable for you, since you need to access APIs over https and they allow only limited functionality. Many hosts like hostgator will offer free trials, but you need to pay a nominal amount (like 1 cent) with credit card or Paypal. If you don't have any of these, I guess the only option you have is to ask someone for help.

We mentioned we used Freehostia earlier and we recently have tried 000webhost.com too. There was a problem with Freehostia db connection. We tried contacting them, but there was an error in their contact us form too. The error might still be there, it just gives a white page after you click on submit in contact form. Anyhow, 000webhost was easy to use and it seemed their servers are configured properly. We give them a large plus.

I doubt you'll find a host that will give a free private ssl, however most hosts offer the use of the server's shared ssl, which does result in an awkward domain name for utilization of the certificate.
